LinkedIn Tired of Politics

 Popular job networking social media giant LinkedIn is testing out a feature that would enable users to block any political content from their feed. This feature is currently being tested with select users and would allow a user the option to toggle on or off political posts. Nearly 55% of social media users have expressed that they are tired of politics taking over their news feeds, so LinkedIn is aiming to address their discontent.

  As Elon Musk inches closer and closer to a Twitter buyout, Republicans prepare for a possible return of Donald Trump and other popular party members to the social media platform. Musk has said that he believes the app should be a platform where free speech thrives, so he will likely reorganize and relax different censor methods that are in place. Truth Social Off to a Difficult Start

     Former President Donald J. Trump’s widely anticipated Truth Social has gotten off to a rocky start as many of the newly registered users are either highly inactive on the new platform or cross-post the same posts on other popular social media like Twitter of Facebook. Even politicians who have been outspoken about media censorship and the idea of fake news, such as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, have been cross-posting on Truth Social and other previously criticized media apps. Truth Social is an application that allows users to post short messages to their following base in a similar fashion to Twitter.
