Truth Social Hits Yet Another Bump
Donald Trump’s Truth Social
continues to experience setbacks as two key chiefs of technology and product
development resign at a critical point in the application’s release plan. Josh
Adams and Billy Boozer are bother conservative tech entrepreneurs that joined former
President Donald Trump in his mission to create a social media platform that
countered “cancel culture” and competing social media platforms. The
resignation of the two men come after the problematic initial release of the
iPhone application and before the pending release for Android devices. Many
users are still on the waitlist to create accounts and access the application.
Trump’s
social media application is attempting to rival the likes of Twitter and
Facebook, but Truth Social keeps experiencing major setbacks. Donald Trump’s
desire to create a completely unfiltered space for expression is completely
understandable since he’s been banned from nearly all major social media
platforms. He seems to have a deep desire to connect with the world and has
been effectively censored from doing so on mainstream platforms. Will Trump’s
Truth Social get it’s act together and be the saving grace for expressive
social media?

I do not know much about Trump's social media, but Trump creating his own platform does not surprise me at all. He seems to love social media and uses it to his advantage by communicating with his fans/followers. After researching his platform, many articles are also in agreeance that his app has had several "hiccups" or problems. I believe he will not give up on Truth Social and will eventually get everything straightened out. Great and informative post!
ReplyDeleteTruth Social was a great idea in theory. I think the whole venture was rushed and each time an issue has arisen the situation looks all the more worse than what it could be in the big picture sense. It will take much longer that Trump anticipated to get his social media set up and running; his base doesn't seem to be shrinking so I suppose that they are willing to wait till things get fixed. Great post.
